Yesterday I made the most amazing pizza. Upon the announcement of my victory in making said incredible pizza about 80% from scratch, I was asked, “healthy? or splurge?”
Why does it have to be one or the other?
I can tell you the number one reason I am successful at my weight loss is [...]
Today comes with some difficult decisions.
1. Is Lifetime really worth it? 2. Should I eat all my activity points?
Okay, so the second one isn’t too difficult, so I’ll explain that one first.
I weighed in at 157.8. I only lost .6, and this was a fantastic week of control. I didn’t even [...]
This morning I woke up (at 11:30) really wanting fried eggs. I pull out the electric griddle and made a variation on a Weight Watchers recipes for eggs florentine:
The whole meal was only 4 points! Amazing! It was:
*1/2 cup fresh spinach and a minced 1/4 of a clove [...]
Justice is finally served!
I was a little worried. When I weighed myself this morning (clothed), I weighed 158.0, and right after I ate breakfast I weighed myself again and it said 159.2.
Thankfully though, the Weight Watchers scale was fair, and I officially earned my 10%.

I know I really shouldn’t be. I lost weight, and that’s good. It’s just [...]
I’ve been itching to try Roni’s Whole Grain Crepes and today I took the opportunity, since I rarely prepare breakfast on weekdays. Today I took a stab at what I call Cherry Almond Cheesecake Crepes:
I tweaked Roni’s original recipe a bit and came up with this:
Okay, this will be a mixed photo post of various eats over the past few weeks. Call it catch up (ketchup?) , if you will.
My husband, Edgar, mixing salsa with avocado in our tiny but loveable townhouse kitchen:
A recent visit to Market Street resulted in this grocery bag (Organic [...]
So yesterday didn’t go entirely as planned. Ate most the items on the menu except for the Green Monster which was replaced with too many candy cane flavored hershey kisses. Did discover that I L-O-V-E delicata squash. All I did was cut it into small fries, sprinkled them with kosher salt and roasted them [...]
I’m back in Plainview and so glad. I’m sick of the mindless eating madness. Today, while wasn’t fabulous, was certainly better than I have been doing. I ate pretty much the calories I would normally eat on any given (on plan) day. Tomorrow I’m going all out with the healthy food in order to [...]
